When I left college I went back home and lived with my parents for about six months during which time I was looking for a job. Frustration began to set in and I once again turned to dressing up as a way of release. When I eventually found a job it was away form my parents and I lived in rented rooms in a large house. This meant that I could dress every evening if I wished but I was too afraid of being caught that I did not really dress too often. I never knew who was going to knock on the door and ask to see me.

I moved out into another rented accommodation that was really like a bed and breakfast. Here it was not possible to dress unless the whole house was empty which it was on perhaps one or two occasions a year so I waited until I returned home during holidays to dress.

Eventually I returned to my hometown to work and returned to my parents' house to live. I now had my own room which, on occasion, my mother would come into and clean but things in there were mine and she did not go through them. This meant I could build up a small wardrobe of clothes, underwear and shoes.

I did not dress very often but just occasionally when I knew everyone would be out I would plan my dressing and half of the fun would be the anticipation of the event.

This went on for about three years until I met the Anne who would become my wife. We decided to wed but I did not tell her anything about my other 'self'. When we bought a house together and eventually moved in and married I also brought the things I had built up with me.

I stored things in boxes in the garage, as we both did. On a weekend I had time off which Anne did not so the opportunity was there to dress and have the run of the house. Luckily no other house overlooked the house so walking about in it was not a real problem.

I also found that Anne had a number of dresses and outfits which I could fit into so on some occasions I wore clothes which I had seen her wearing. This gave me a tremendous thrill but also a feeling of letting her down just after we married so I decided to purge all of my things on a bonfire which was built to get rid of a large amount of garden rubbish.

I managed to refrain from dressing for almost a year but eventually the opportunity arose and Anne went away on a course for a weekend. As I knew this was coming up it gave me an opportunity to plan and to go out and buy underwear, clothing and shoes. I planned to dress and go outside dressed as a woman. To read what happened read My First Time Out.

Once home again I thought about what the child had said and how I would cope with the exposure. I realised that I did not want to tell my wife as I did not want to lose her so once again at the end of the day I got rid of all of my things including photographs I had taken.
