The meal was the usual good fare and Katie and I shared a bottle of wine, unfortunately Sarah was driving and was on the soft drinks. We had a great time chatting and catching up with each other’s news and just as we finished Maryanne’s wife came in and said that she had changed and was hiding at the top of the stairs because she was afraid to come any further.
Someone had to go and persuade her to come and join us so I stood up and made my way upstairs to bring her to join us. She looked fabulous and I said so. With that she decided to join us so she accompanied me back to our table.
Below is a picture of Sarah and Katie sitting at the table where we had our meal. And below it one of Maryanne and myself.
I was hoping for some time as Tina before Christmas 2004 but everything seemed to be falling through until Katie and Sarah said that they were going to be meeting in the Philbeach Hotel on Friday the 17th of December. As my wife and family were away that weekend I couldn’t resist the chance. I booked in at the Philbeach and managed to get away from work before 2:00pm on the Friday.
Once on the M1 motorway I stopped at the first services, bought a magazine and some water and then got changed. I had decided to wait until I saw what the weather was doing, or going to do, before I decided what to wear. It was fine and sunny when I changed so I put on a pair of black tights, a black plunging neckline top and my newly bought leather skirt along with my black three inch high heeled shoes.
It took a little longer to get changed than I thought but eventually I managed it and began the long drive to London. Amazingly enough it took almost 5 hours from getting changed to arriving there. There were two major delays. The first was the one and a half hours it took to get past Sheffield and then the hour from the end of the M1 to get to the hotel. I parked at the Beaver Hotel and then walked along Philbeach Gardens to the Philbeach and booked in. I was a little late but I needed to freshen up and get changed to meet the others in the bar.
I undressed, washed my face and replaced my make up. I then put on my short leatherette skirt and a low cut top which had a sheer shirt to cover it. On my feet I put my four inch heeled black sandals and combing my hair I spritzed myself with some perfume grabbed my new black bag and made my way downstairs to the bar.
When I got to the bar I saw Katie and Sarah and two other people who introduced themselves as Maryanne and her wife. At the time Maryanne admitted that she was a little nervous and had not dressed just wanting to feel the place out first. We chatted for some time and then Katie, Sarah and myself went upstairs to the restaurant to have a meal. Maryanne and her wife said that they would probably join us later.
I left the room and met one of the guests coming out of the shower as I went through the door at the top of the stairs.
I said good morning to him and went to breakfast. Talk about quick he was downstairs asking if he could join me for breakfast almost before I had got my coffee. He sat and chatted me up for about half an hour. It was obvious he wanted me to reciprocate but I declined but he followed me upstairs. Panic bells began ringing as he constantly complimented me on my legs and my look. You can see what he saw in the picture below. I’m not sure what to make of it.
Eventually we paid the bill and adjourned downstairs to the bar again. Here Katie took a picture of me,and we persuaded the barman to take a picture of all of us sitting in the bar.
Sarah had to leave just after this as she had to drive back to Essex. We continued until the bar closed and then Katie and I decided it would be nice to take a walk before we retired. Maryanne declined and as I had just caught my tights with my engagement ring I went and changed them and also put on my three inch heeled shoes as they were probably going to be easier to walk in and another slightly more sensible top. Katie got her coat from her room , which was two doors away from mine. I quickly changed and grabbing my coat we went out for a walk.
We walked along Philbeach Gardens until we reached Katie’s car. She just wanted to check what time her ticket ran out. we then walked down Warwick Road Until we reached the other end of Philbeach Gardens. We turned to return to the hotel but we were both enjoying ourselves so we decided to walk to Earls Court Road.
I don’t think either of us had any problems with the people we met. When I saw the pictures we took at the hotel when we returned I could not believe that I had been walking around London at after 1:00 am in such a short skirt and had no problems. Eventually we returned to the hotel and decided that we would like some pictures for posterity. I got my camera but left my coat in my room so the pictures of me are how I went out minus the coat. These you can see below.
The next morning, my birthday, I woke when Katie closed her door and lay awake for some time before deciding to get up and get dressed. I had already decided that I would not go to Oxford Street dressed but take my time and make my leisurely way home so that I could arrive just after dark and arrive dressed., It being dark enough so that the neighbours would not see me. However I decided that I would wear trousers for the drive but for breakfast I would wear a skirt. So I wore my knee length leather skirt to breakfast, not the short one I was wearing last night I washed and shaved and put on my make up. I put my leather skirt on, my grey top and my three inch heels I had worn to walk out in last night.
Finally, just outside my room, he asked if he could just hug me. Like a fool I said yes a quick hug. We hugged and I could feel his huge hard on pressing against my thigh. Luckily he left and I quickly retreated into my room and hastily packed all of my things remembering to change into trousers and boots for the drive home.
I left the hotel and began what I thought would be a leisurely drive home. I got onto the motorway and just for once drove at just below 70 mph until just after the Hemel Hempstead turnoff then a traffic jam and we ground to a halt. One and a half hours later having stopped and started numerous times and having read a magazine the road was clear and I continued. However I noticed that sitting in the traffic all that time I was rapidly running out of fuel. Question should I pull into a services, change and put some fuel in or should Tina do it.
I pulled in at Newport Pagnell Services and checked that I had enough cash to buy some diesel. I took a picture of myself standing in the car park and then went and Tina put the fuel in the car.
I self-consciously walked to the shop bought some sandwiches and a drink and paid for the fuel as well . No one seemed to take any undue notice which really pleased me. I even had to speak to the assistant behind the counter and had no adverse reaction. Out of the shop and back to the car feeling quite elated.
About ten minutes later the warning light came on for my washer bottle so off at the next services and fill the thing up. I pulled up at the water point and then fiddled with the catch on the bonnet release. When I was propping the bonnet open someone asked me if I had a problem and could manage. I thanked him and said I could manage. I filled the washer bottle up put the bonnet back down and continued my journey.
As I got further north I was also almost dropping off at times with the amount of driving I had done over the last 24 hours and the short period of sleep. I needed coffee so pulled into Woodall Services. I put on my blue Berghaus fleece and grabbing my handbag I walked across the car park and went into the service. A black coffee and a Danish seemed like the thing to have and having paid I sat around for about half an hour and no one gave me a second glance. If they did I didn't notice.
Refreshed I continued and arrived home dressed just as I had planned. I emptied all of my stuff out of the car and unfortunately got changed before My son arrived home from work.
An eventful and very enjoyable birthday.
